After thrashing Far West XI 5-0 in the opening match of 3rd Jhapa gold cup, Jhapa XI coach Prabesh Katuwal said their target was to win the title.

Speaking with GoalNepal, coach Katuwal said, "We scored goals on time. That helped us to dominate the match. Opponent team was also not in full strength. I am happy with our performance. We still have so many rooms to improve.

"Ground is very good. And we could play possession wise football. Our target is to win the title. We were runners up in previous two occasions", said Katuwal.

Far West XI manager Anil Kathayat said that they had fielded second string side after their regular players were injured.

"Only one (goalie Jeewan Bhattarai) player is from our senior side. All the players are from B team. I am happy with their performance", manager Kathayat said.
