Chitwan: 5th Madi U15 Championship Kicks Off

5th Madi U15 football championship got underway at Madi, Chitwan on Saturday.

Nepal national technical school and Diwakar memorial MA VI registered their win in the opening day.

Nepal national technical school defeated Jagannathapuri MA VI in sudden death in the opening match. Sandesh Timalsina became the player of the match.

In the second match, Diwakar memorial sidelined Jana Jiwan MA VI 3-0. Nayan Gurung became the player of the match.

Basantapur United club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Nrs 40,000. Runners up team will get Nrs 20,000.

15 teams are taking part in the event.
