ANFA senior vice-president Pankaj Nembang has urged ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa for a meeting to solve the ongoing issue between head coach Abdullah Almutairi and the players who left the closed camp last Tuesday.
Pankaj Nembang posted on Facebook urging Sherpa for an immediate meeting. Nembang wrote, "Will the problem go away by running away from it, Mr. President? Call a meeting as soon as possible. Let's decide institutionally. It's too late now."
The players wrote ANFA a letter yesterday urging them to investigate the matter internally and come out with a conclusion. Before that, head coach Almutairi also wrote ANFA asking ANFA to not punish the players while also including that the players who left camp won't be in the squad for the qualifiers.
