The third tier of the Nepali football pyramid, Martyr's Memorial C Division League has got underway on Friday. The tournament commenced after ANFA president Karma Tshering Sherpa handed over the match ball to the referee at the ANFA Complex.

In the opening match of the season, Mahabir Youth Club defeated Sports Club, Sanga 2-1 to get all three points. The second match of the day saw RC 32 Football Academy defeat Khalibari Youth FC 1-0.

The final match of the day finished in a 1-0 win for Planning Boys United against Pulchowk Sports Club.

The top two teams of the C Division league will get promoted to the B Division League.
