Kalika Sports Club, Chitwan has entered the final of the 5th Bharaul International Invitational Football Tournament with a thrilling victory in a game where goals poured down. In the second semi-final held on Thursday, Kalika Sports defeated Bindabasini Football Club, Biratnagar 4-3 to secure a place in the final.

Kalika took the lead in the ninth minute of the match at the Bharaul Stadium. But in the 32nd minute, Martin scored for Bindabasini to level the game at 1-1. Sunil Khadka's goal in the opening minute of the second half gave Bindabasini the lead. Two minutes later, Sushil Rai added the third goal. But Bindabasini could not maintain that lead.

Five minutes after the third goal, Hari Karki scored the second goal for Kalika. Rup Bahadur Lama scored the third goal for Kalika in the 28th minute of the second half. Four minutes later, Hari Karki scored the second individual goal and the fourth for the team to ensure an exciting victory for Kalika Sports.

Hari Karki of Kalika Sports, who scored two goals in the match, was declared Man of the Match. He was awarded Rs 5,000 in cash and a trophy by special guest Arjun Koirala. Now, Kalika Sports will play the final against Planning Boys Club, Kathmandu on April 3 for the title.

The winner of the competition organized by New Star Club, Barahkshetra, Sunsari and Barahkshetra Municipality will get 3,00,000 rupees including the title and the runner-up will get 1,50,000 rupees.
