Kalika Sports Club, Chitwan have qualified for the semifinals of the WaiWai Fifth International Invitational Bharaul Gold Cup today. They defeated Amukta Pariwar, West Bengal 3-2 in the shootout to make it to the semifinals.

The regulation time ended 1-1. Rup Bahadur Lama scored for Kalika in the 70th minute and Debhashish Rai equalized for the Indian side in the 80th minute.

In the shootout, Rup Bahadur Lama, Rajendra Rawal and Glory scored their penalties while for Amukta, only Biju Bhujel and Bikki Saibdo could score.

Kalika GK Niraj Chaudhary. was named the player of the match and received Rs. 5000 and a medal.

Rajarani FC, Dhankuta and Planning Boys Club, Kathmandu will face each other tomorrow in the first semifinal.
