Saino Sports Club, Biratnagar has qualified for the final of the Mills Gold Cup going on in Biratnagar, Morang. They defeated Godhuli Club, Dharan 9-8 on sudden death to reach the semi-finals. They will now face the winners of Golbazar Prativa Club, Siraha and Damak Academy, Jhapa in the final.

The regulation time ended goalless and the match was sent to penalties.

Saino's Ashok Khawas, Kailash Basnet, Diwakar Chaudhary, Nishen Subba, Min Dhimal, Khamir Gilson, Dinesh Rai, Bhuwan Basnet and Anjel Shrestha scored in the shootout. Nishan Limbu's blow hit the post.

Dharan's Dorje Tamang, Sushil Rai, Diwas Sunuwar, Manoj Rai, Jiwan Gurung, Manish Thapa, Tapan Karki and Umesh Rai scored their spot-kicks. Milan Rai and Sanjit Rai's strikes were saved by Saino's goalkeeper Anjel Shrestha.

Anjel was named the player of the match and received Rs. 5,000.
