Ward no. 6 has emerged victorious in today's encounter at the second President Cup Running Shield Inter-ward Tournament 2078 being held in Miklajung Village Municipality, Madhumalla, Morang. Ward no. 6 defeated Ward no. 9 on penalties to reach the semifinals of the tournament.

Both teams couldn't score in regulation time and the match went to penalties. Ward. no 6 then won the shootout 4-3.

Ward no. 9 goalkeeper Ashim Raj Shrestha was adjudged the player of the match today.

Ward no. 3 and Ward no. 5 will play each other for a place in the final four tomorrow.
