Nepal lead 1-0 going into half-time against Mauritius in the second friendly at the Dasharath Stadium in Kathmandu.

Nepal are leading courtesy of a Sujan Shrestha goal in the 10th minute of the match.

Nepal started well, with a lot of possession at the start of the match. Nepal were looking to play long balls with two wingers making runs on either wings.

Nepal finally managed to break the deadlock in the 10th minute of the match off a corner. The corner was cleared by the Mauritian defense which fell for Aashish Lama outside the box. His shot then fell at Sujal's feet inside the six-yard box and he tapped it in to give Nepal the lead.

Mauritius immediately got a chance to equalise through a penalty after Andy Sophie was fouled in the box. Andy Sophie then stepped up to take the spot-kick but Nepal no. 1 Kiran Chemjong saved the penalty. The penalty was guessed right by Kiran and he put his right hand to it and saved it to his right.

After the goal, Nepal still had the upper hand with a lot of possession but have been wasteful with the ball in the final third.

Mauritius have also had a fair share of chances at the other end but Kiran has made a few good saves to keep the score at 1-0.

Let's see what the second half brings.
