3rd Saudi Arab gold cup got underway at Charpane, Birtamod, Jhapa on Saturday.

In the opening match of the tournament, Church Boys United defeated Red Horse FC 1-0 in the opening match. Substitute Santosh Neupane scored the match winning goal in the second half.

Defender Bikash Thulung was named the player of the match.

In the tournament, Jalthal FC will play against Dudhauli sporting club on Sunday.

The tournament is being organized by Saudi Arab veterans and the winner will get Rs. 1 lakhs. Birtamod mayor Dhruva Siwakoti inaugurated the tournament before the ball was kicked today.
