Rohit Chand, Nepalese international who plays professional football in Indonesia's premier division, has proven to be decisive to give his team three crucial points to his team Persija Jakarta.

Jakarta, who had lost their previous two games, defeated Tira Persicabo 1-0 on Friday to earn three crucial points.

Jakarta's triumph was sealed by Rohit's only goal in the 50th minute of the second half.

With this win, Jakarta has 21 points from 15 games, putting them in ninth place in the league rankings. Jakarta are still 12 points behind Bhayangara, the league leaders while Persicabo is 13th with 15 points after losing to Jakarta.

Jakarta's next league game is on Tuesday against PSM, who is ranked tenth.
