Maldives national team defeated Qatari B Division side, Al Lusail FC 4-3 in a friendly match played on Tuesday night.

Ali Haisan scored a brace while Ali Ashfaq and Ali Fashir scored apiece for the winners.

Defensing champions, Maldives is in Qatar to prepare for the SAFF Championship 2021. Maldives will play against Nepal in their opening match on October 1, 2021.

Five teams, Nepal, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are taking part in the event.
