GoalNepal Fund has dispatched its first help to local football Club based outside the Kathmandu Valley.
The Ocean Children Club, Gorkha became the first Club to get the help from GoalNepal Fund.
Former Nepal International and Nepalese football lover, Pralaya Rajbhandari donated a complete set of football kit to GoalNepal Fund.
The help was donated by GoalNepal.com to Ocean Children Club member, Amit Khatri Thursday afternoon in Kathmandu.
"I feel proud to contribute something to local Club", Pralaya Rajbhandari said, "This is not for cheap popularity. This is for the development of Nepalese football. We need to promote local Clubs".
"I am impressed by GoalNepal Fund, initiated by GoalNepal.com. I thought I could do something from my side", Rajbhandari said, "When I come to know Ocen Children Club is need of football jersey, I decided to donate through GoalNepal Fund".
"I have donated the shirts with the help from New York Nepalese Football Club", Rajbhandari added.
After receiving the help, Ocean Children Club member, Amit Khatri, who is studying Electrical Engineering at Kathmandu University, said, "On behalf of my Club, I would like to express my sincere thanks to Pralaya Rajbhandari and GoalNepal Fund. GoalNepal.com is doing lot of things for the development of Nepalese football. We are so much happy to receive football jerseys".
"We are playing local tournament in Gorkha which is schedule to start from tomorrow", Khatri said, "We didn't have jersey but now we have got it. Thank you Pralaya Dai and GoalNepal.com".
GoalNepal.com CEO, Bikram Thapa, who handed over the jersey to Khatri on behalf of GoalNepal Fund, said, "This how we need to start. The journey has just begun. We need to cover thousands miles to develop Nepalese football. Small make things bigger. We need to develop our football from zero level. GoalNepal Fund is committed for the development of Nepalese football".
