News 23 National Team Players & 12 Officials Are Cleared To Fly To Iraq

All Nepal Football Association (ANFA) has confirmed that polymerase chain reaction (PCR) results of 23 players and 12 officials are negative and are cleared to fly to Iraq for a friendly match.

The test was done on Monday morning. The team is flying to Basrah, Iraq tonight via Qatar Airways.

The friendly match against Iraq is scheduled on May 29, 2021.

After playing the friendly match, team will fly to Kuwait City FC for FIFA World cup qualifiers.

DFs: Ananta Tamang, Gautam Shrestha, Suman Aryal, Rohit Chand, Dinesh Rajbanshi, Bikash Khawas MFs: Bishal Rai, Sunil Bal, Pujan Uparkoti, Arik Bista, Anjan Bista,  Santosh Tamang, Ayush Ghalan, Suraj Jeu Thakuri, Kamal Thapa

FWs: Abhishek Rijal, Suman Lama, Manish Dangi, Nawayug Shrestha, Aashish Lama

Gautam Shrestha, Ayush Ghalan, Suraj Thakuri, Kamal Thapa, Bishal Sunar and Manish Dangi are the rookie players to make to the final squad for the first time.
