News FIFA World Cup Qualifiers: Aussie Coach Arnold Isn't Making Extreme Condition In Kuwait An Excuse
GoalNepal

Australia coach Graham Arnold has refused to be concerned by the climate in Kuwait.

AFC is conducting FIFA World Cup 2022 qualifiers and AFC Asian Cup 2023 qualifiers in a neutral venue of Kuwait city in the first week of June.

"We're going to go into extreme conditions but my mentality is we don't use it as an excuse. It is what it is," he said to Socceroos.com.au

"It's the same for the other teams in the group and then the same for another five different groups in the World Cup Qualifiers spread out around the Middle East - so there are about 20 teams having to do it, we're just one of them.

"I think the more you play in the Middle East the more the boys get used to it and everyone gets used to it."

Australia will meet Nepal on June 11, 2021.

Before that, Nepal will fly to Iraq on May 25 to take on Iraq on May 29 before moving to Kuwait City for FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
