Birat Gold Cup: Punjab Police Beats Gorkha Boys Rupandehi To Enter QFs

Punjab Police, India has entered quarterfinals of Birat Gold Cup football tournament in Biratnagar, Morang.

Punjab Police sidelined Gorkha Boys Rupandehi 4-2 on penalties on Friday to enter last eight. Punjab Police will now play against Machhindra FC on April 11.

Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time and added extra time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Goalie Sarbajit became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash.

Birat gold cup trust is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 15 lakh.
