Chitwan: Tribhuwan Army FC Enters SFs Of Central College Bijaya Khadgi Memorial Cup

Tribhuwan Army FC has entered semifinals of Central college Bijaya Khadgi memorial cup football tournament in Chitwan.

A second side of Army team thrashed 10-man Sunaulo Sangam FC from Rupandehi 5-0 at Camapa chaur, Bharatpur on Sunday. Sunaulo Sangam's Aasish Gurung was sent off.

Santosh KC (10', 81') and Sushant Chaudhary (35', 82') scored brace each while Rajesh Paudel scored another in 45+2 for the winners.

Santosh KC became the player of the match and received NRs 5000 cash.

Lekhnath United FC, Kaski will play against Bagmati yuwa club, Sarlahi on Monday.

Chitwan DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 3 lakh.
