Hosts Himalaya Community Development Centre has entered quarterfinals of 9th Himalayan cup in Rupandehi district.

Himalaya defeated Devdaha yuwa club 3-0 in pre-quarterfinal match played on Wednesday.

Tejen Pun scored a brace while Jiwan Pun scored another for the winners.

Butwal youth will meet Chadani yuwa on Thursday.

The championship has a winning purse of Rs 1,11,111 while runners up team will walk away with Rs 55,555.

Sixteen teams are participating in the championship.
