Kapilvastu: Hosts Suryodaya Enters SFs Of 1st Suryodaya Cup

Hosts Suryodaya Samudayik Bikas Sanstha, Bungchi has entered semifinals of 1st Suryodaya cup football tournament.

Suryodaya defeated Damkada FC, Palpa 6-1 on Thursday.

Suraj Hamal scored four goals alone (2', 10', 34', 53') while Roshan Sen (15') and Nishant Neupane (67') scored apiece for the winners.

Sudip Thapa (49') scored a consolation goal for Damkada.

Four goal hero Hamal became the player of the match.

Kobra Guys will play against New Youth Union Club, Palpa in third quarterfinal match on Friday.

The championship has a winning purse of Nrs 1,11,111.
