Central College Bharatpur FC has entered quarterfinals of 6th Suryanagar gold cup football tournament.
Central College BFC sidelined Kapilvastu XI 3-0 in pre-quarterfinal match played at Suryanagar stadium at Bardaghat 16, Nawalparasi.
Foreign recruit Maxwell scored a brace while Sujit Budhathoki scored another for the winners. Two goal hero Maxwell became the player of the match.
CC BFC coach Dhruba Bhusal said they were playing without their regular players but was satisfied with the performance of the players he had for the match.
Nepalgunj XI will play against Everest Club, Chitwan on Thursday.
Sri Nawa Yuwa club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 5 lakh. Runners up team will get NRs 3 lakh.
