Khanal Brothers FC has entered semifinals of 3rd Sainamaina Mayor cup football tournament.

Khanal Brothers sidelined Murgiya FC 2-0 in the last quarterfinal match played at Sainamaina on Saturday.

' and Amir Shrestha 36' scored apiece for the winners. Shrestha became the player of the match.



Pharsatikar yuwa club will take on Bishwo Shanti yuwa club in the first semifinal match on Sunday.

Janapriya Sporting Club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,22,222. Runners up team will get NRs 1,11,111.

Two semifinalist teams will get NRs 20,000 each. The MVP will get one mountain bicycle.

12 teams from Rupandehi, Kapilvastu and Nawalparasi are taking part in the event.
