3rd Sainamina Mayor cup is kicking off today at Sainamaina, Rupandehi.

Hosts Janapriya Sporting Club is taking on Kapilvastu DFA in the opening match, club president Kishor Rana told GoalNepal.

The event will be played at Saraswoti Ma VI ground at Dewapar.

Janapriya Sporting Club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 2,22,222. Runners up team will get NRs 1,11,111.

Two semifinalist teams will get NRs 20,000 each. The MVP will get one mountain bicycle.

12 teams from Rupandehi, Kapilvastu and Nawalparasi are taking part in the event.
