The two finalists of the last edition, former winners Jordan and runners-up Lebanon, have entered the semi-finals from Group A of the ongoing WAF Women's Championship.
Jordan defeated Guam 3-0 in the second match of the group stage while Lebanon won 3-2 over host Saudi Arabia.
After this result, Jordan and Lebanon, who scored the same 6-6 points from two matches, have entered the semi-finals from Group A with one match before being in first and second place respectively.
Scoreless Saudi Arabia and Guam have been eliminated from the group stage, finishing third and fourth respectively. In the final match of Group A, Jordan and Lebanon and Guam and Saudi will face each other on February 23. After these two games, the winner and runner-up teams of Group A will be decided.
