Province 7 Dhangadhi: Nepal Police Club Into The Final Of Chief Minister BYC Women's Gold Cup

Nepal Police Club has advanced to the final of the First Chief Minister BYC Women's Gold Cup Football Tournament, which is ongoing.

Police advanced to the final after defeating the hosts Bandevi Youth Club 3-0 in the second semi-final on Thursday.

While the first half at Dhangadhi Stadium ended in a goalless draw, Police managed to score three goals in the second half. In the 49th minute of the second half, Nirmala BK scored the first goal for Police.

In the 56th minute, Rekha Poudel scored the second goal, while Nirmala scored her second individual goal and the team's third goal in the 65th minute.

 

Nirmala BK of NPC, who scored two goals in the game, was also named player of the match. She was awarded a trophy as well as Rs 5,000 in cash.

Police will now compete for the title against another departmental team, APF Football Club, in the final on Saturday.

The winner of the tournament, which is being organized by Bandevi Youth Club in Kailali and endorsed by Far Western Sports Council, will receive 5,00,000 rupees in addition to the title, while the runner-up will receive 2,50,000 rupees.
