Lalbhitti FC has entered semifinals of Mangalbare-Sukrabare football championship in Morang.

Lalbhitti defeated Himal FC Kanepokhari 2-1 in a quarterfinal match played on Monday.

Anos Magar scored the opener for Lalbhitti in 16th minute. Taraman Ghising leveled the score for Himal FC in 30th minute. Bibek Paudel doubled the lead for Lalbhitti, which remained decisive. 

Anos Magar of the winning team became the player of the match. Dan Bahadur Rai sponsored the cash prize of NRs 1,000.

Mangalbare Sukrabare FC Pathari will take on Schoolchaun FC Jhapa in another quarterfinal match on Tuesday.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 51,000. Runners up team will get NRs 25,000.
