Lisankhu rural municipality and Sunkoshi rural municipality have won their respective matches in Komal Maya - Khadga Basnet memorial cup football tournament in Sindhupalchowk.

Lishankhu defeated Barahbise municipality 1-0 on Thursday morning. Dhiraj Tamang scored the match winning goal in 12th minute. Neema Wangel Tamang became the player of the match and received NRs 5,000 cash.

In the second match, Sunkoshi rural municipality sidelined Balephi rural municipality 5-3 on penalties. Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

Suresh Khatri became the player of the match and received NRs 5,000 cash.

Chautra Sagachowk Gadhi Municipality will play against Tripura Sundari Rural Municipality on Friday at 2 PM NST.
