3rd Bagmati Gold Cup: Danphe Club Enters QFs

The champions of Makwanpur district league, Danphe youth club has entered quarterfinals of 3rd Bagmati gold cup football tournament.

Danphe defeated Nawa Jana Jagriti yuwa club 4-0 in pre-quarterfinal match played at Phaparbari mini football stadium on Sunday.

Prezen Tamang (44'), Hisub Thapliya (70') and Rajan Syangtan (90+2) scored apiece for the winners. Another goal was scored in an own post by NJJYC defender.

Hisub Thapaliya became the man of the match and received Nrs 5000 cash.

Hosts Bagmati sports development committee will play against Chyasal youth club in first quarterfinal match on Monday.

The championship has a winning purse of NRs 6 lakh.
