Rupandehi XI survived late scare as they defeated visitors Druk Stars Bhutan 3-2 to enter quarterfinals of 2nd Far West Khaptad gold cup in Dhangadhi.

Druk Stars wasted a spot kick in 89th minute and scored their second in 90+2 minute.

Earlier Amar Dangol scored twice (22', 38') while Manish Thapa scored in 69th minute for the winners.

Two goal hero Dangol became the man of the match and he received Rs 10,000 cash.

Nepal APF will play against Sankata Club in quarterfinal match on Wednesday.
