SAFF U18 Championship 2019: Bangladesh Beats Sri Lanka

Bangladesh U18 has started SAFF U18 championship 2019 campaign with a 3-0 win over Sri Lanka U18 at Nepal APF grounds, Halchowk.

Bangladesh took a lead in the very first minute through Tanveer Hossain.He headed the ball home in a goal mouth melee. 

Mohamed Fahim scored a brace in the second half to register a comfortable 3-0 victory for Bangladesh. Fahim scored second goal in 76th and put ice on the cake in 86th minute.

Bangladesh will now take on India in their second match.

There are six teams taking part in the event. Hosts Nepal will play against Bhutan tomorrow at 3:15 PM.
