Nepal U16 is playing against hosts Jordan in its first match of 2020 AFC U16 championship qualifiers today. The match will be played at at 7:45 PM NST.

Nepal is grouped with Jordan, Kuwait, Tajikistan and Sri Lanka.

Nepal suffered a set back before moving to Jordan as their three important players failed bone test.

Coach Sunil Shrestha said, "Jordan is very good side. We have to very cautious. Our plan is to steal a point from them".

Nepal U16 skipper Jaan Limbu said they were serious about the match.

"We have to play our best. We will give our best against Jordan", said Limbu.

Sri Lanka U16 will play aginst Kuwait in another match.
