Ruslan Three Star Club skipper Bikram Lama said he was very happy that the Lalitpur based club is back to playing.
Stars stopped playing football for two years in protest to ANFA. After settling down with ANFA for Rs 1 crore 50 lakh, the club officials decided to take part in Nepalese football. Earlier they demanded Rs six crore compensation for barring them to play in AFC Cup qualifiers. ANFA missed five reminders from AFC to nominate them for the qualifiers.
Skipper Lama said, "We are making a good team. We will compete in mofasal tournaments. We believe we can meet the expectation of our fans".
He added, "We are thankful to our fans for their patience. We will give our best to win their hearts again".
The club's first assignment will be Far Western Khaptad gold cup.
