News ANFA Classifies Mofassal Tournaments In Three Categories

ANFA has classified mofassal tournament in three categories i.e A, B and C.

According to ANFA, Mofassal tournaments Level determining committee formed by the FA has categorized the tournaments after studying, discussing and investigating over the details sent by mofassal organizers.

A, B and C Class Tournament organizers have to meet the following regulations:

1. Stadium or standard playing ground with proper fencing and parafit (permanent or temporary) that accomodates 1000 people is compulsory. Field size must be 60 meter* 100 meter. Tournament can be organized only on grass field or artificial turf.

2.1 'A' class tournament must have 10 participating teams including 6 A division teams recognized by ANFA and atleast two foreign teams. Mofassal teams must be registered at district FA.

2.2 'B' class tournament must include 10 teams in which 6 A Division teams recognized by ANFA, atleast one foreign team and teams of different districts registered at respective DFA.

2.3 'C' class tournament must possess 8 teams including 4 A Division teams recognized by ANFA and teams of different districts registered at respective DFA.

3. Upon recommendation from ANFA tournament committee, ANFA will nominate necessary technical teams (referee, assistant referee, referee accessor and match commissioner) for any tournament.

4. Tournament rules have to be granted by ANFA. Players' registration has to be according to guidelines of ANFA.

5. A, B and C class tournament organizers have to pay registration fee of Rs.25,000, Rs.15,000 and Rs.10.000 respectively to district football association for organization of tournament.

6. There should be a technical team of license holding coaching staffs in a tournament.

7. There should be necessary training grounds, security, proper changing room and players' box, medical team and medicines, ambulance, insurance facility for players and officials and toilet for spectators.

8. There should be proper and systematic security system in entire tournament.

9. Organizer should pay two way fare of public transporation + Rs.10,000 to a participating team. Organizers have to provide transportation in the tournament day and training day. Also there should be a contract between a club and organizer.

10. Organizer should bear convenient lunch and snacks expense occuring in two way travel.

11.1 'A' class tournament must provide service and facilitiy to 22 players and 5 officials.

11.2 'B' class tournament must provide service and facility to 20 players and 5 officials.

11.3 'C' class tournament must provide service and facility to 18 players and 5 officials.

12.1 'A' class tournament must have a prize money of atleast 10 lakh rupees.

12.2 'B' class tournament must have a prize money of atleast 8 lakh rupees.

12.3 'C' class tournament must have a prize money of atleast 6 lakh rupees.

13.1 Each Player and official for 'A' class tournament must get atleast Rs.1500 daily allowance.

13.2 Each Player and official for 'B' class tournament must get atleast Rs.1300 daily allowance.

13.3 Each Player and official for 'C' class tournament must get atleast Rs.1100 daily allowance.

14. A contract has to be done between a participating team and organizer regarding every match money.

15.  On the basis of contract between organizer and club, organizer must send letter to a participating team regarding service and facility to be provided before team's arrival.

16. Referee and referee accessors must be provided daily allowance, service and facility as per ANFA rules. Organizer must also bear their fooding and lodging during tournament.

17. Match commissioner must be nominated by ANFA. Daily allowance to the match commissioner must be paid according to ANFA rules. Organizer must also provide fooding and lodging to the match commissioner.

18. Organizer must submit tournament report and financial report within two month of tournament completion. ANFA will also award organizer and DFA, who will submit the reports on time.

19. A club can't participate in more than three tournaments in a month.

20. Tournament completing 5 editions, 3 editions and others will get 'A' class, 'B' class and 'C' class respectively. ANFA will monitor the tournaments and they will be promoted and demoted in class. A tournament will be demoted if organizer fail to organize as per rules.
