Lamjung: 26th Triveni Cup Kicks Off In Besisahar

26th Triveni cup got underway on Wednesday in Besisahar, Lamjung.

The tournament was inaugurated by organizing a friendly match between veteran teams.

Veteran Triveni yuwa club defeated Veterans Lamjung Marshyangdi yuwa club 3-1 in the friendly match.

Tournament proper will start from Thursday.

Twenty two teams are participating in the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 3 lakh. Runners up team will get Rs 1.5 lakh. Two semifinalist teams will get Rs 50,000 each.
