Darjeeling United Beats Hosts Mai Valley FC To Enter Quarterfinals Of Mai Valley Gold Cup

Visitors Darjeeling United ousted hosts Mai Valley FC 1-0 to enter quarterfinals of 5th Mai Valley gold cup.

Dewashish Rai scored the match winner in thr stoppage time for Darjeeling.

Wangden Tamang from Darjeeling became the man of the match. He received Nrs 10,000 cash.

Darjeeling will play against Nepal Police on 12th March.

Himalayan Sherpa will play against Nepalese football academy on Monday.

Earlier Province 1 CM Sherdhan Rai inaugurated the championship.

10 teams are taking part in the event, which has a winning purse of Nrs 7 lakh.
