25th edition of IGP football running trophy got underway Nepal police school ground, Sanga, Kavre on Sunday.

Nepal Police School A and Malpi international won their respective matches in the opening day.

NPS A defeated United school 5-0. Bhaijin Dhakal scored a hat trick (8', 16', 70+1') while Kajiram Surkheti (35+2') and Pujan Puri (48') scored apiece for the winners.

Hat trick hero Pujan Puri became the man of the match.

In the second match, Malpi defeated Nepal Police school Samakhusi 9-0.

Prayajan Budhathoki scored a hat trick while Lapsang Paldeng and Rinzin Lama scored brace each. Pranish Thapa and Prithvi Kunwar scored apiece for the winners. Budhathoki became the man of the match.
