Kathmandu: 3rd NEPS Cup Kicks Off

3rd NEPS cup got underway in Kathmandu on Friday.

Hosts Nepalaya B defeated World Youth 3-1 on penalties in the opening match.

Both teams played 0-0 draw in regulation time before inviting a spot kick battle.

In the second match, Venus Public school defeated East Pole 3-1 on penalties.

Earlier, Nepal skipper Biraj Maharjan inaugurated the championship.
