News Nepal U16 Crashes Out From AFC U16 Group E Qualifiers

Nepal U16 women's team performed poor game as they suffered humiliating 11-1 loss at the hands of Myanmar U16 in a must win match of AFC U16 qualifiers at APF ground, Halchowk on Friday.

Swe Aur Mang scored four goals (4’,6’,17’,20’,38’) while Myat Khin scored a hat trick (9’, 29’, 33’). Zhin Mar The (3’), What Phoo Rain (30’) and Pont Pont (62’) scored apiece for the winners.

Nikita Thokar scored a consolation goal for Nepal in 73rd minute.

Nepal needed a win to remain in the fray but they appeared hapless from the word go. They were beaten by Philippines 4-0 in the first match.

Myanmar and Philippines have made it through final round with six points from two matches.

They will play each other on Sunday to determine the group winner.

Nepal will play against Malaysia in an academic match.
