Kathmandu Mayor Bidhya Sundar Shakya wants club from Kathmandu to win Martyr's memorial league.
Kathmandu metro supported six clubs from Kathmandu city with Rs 9,30,000 on Monday.
Clubs - Machhindra FC, Himalayan Sherpa Club, Sankata Club, NRT, MMC and Saraswoti Youth Club - received Rs 5 lakh cash and gears worth Rs 4,30,000.
"We would like to support the clubs from the city in coming days. I want club from Kathmandu to win the Martyr's memorial league", said Shakya in the handover program organized in Kathmandu on Monday.
ANFA president Karma Tsering Sherpa thanked metro for the valuable support.
League is starting from September 29. 14 clubs are taking part.
