Makwanpur: Madan Bhandari Sports Academy Kathmandu Wins 7-A-Side Veterans Championship
Madan Bhandari sports academy, Kathmandu has won the title of 7-A-Side veterans championship in Hetauda.
The academy defeated Chitwan Veterans 3-1 on penalties to win the title on Saturday.
Both teams had played 2-2 draw in regulation time. Dipak Karki from Chitwan became the man of the match.
Nima Lama became the most valuable player of the tournament. He received Rs 15,000 cash.
The champions received Rs 50,000 while runners up team walked away with Rs 25,000.
Chief guest Province 3 CM Dor Mani Paudel distributed prizes to the winners.
