United Sikkim FC coach Mayal Dok Lepcha has thanked Ilameli football fans for their excellent support to their team.

Ilameli fans were in full support in their 1-0 win over Sankata club in 4th Mai Valley gold cup on Saturday.

Sanjaya Chhetri scored the match winning goal.

"We are thankful to the fans for their support. We expect same support in next match", said coach Lepcha.

He said his boys worked hard against Sankata club.

"We played very good in the first half. We dominated them. In the second half, they were aggressive and we tried to absorb their pace", added Lepcha.

Man of the match Urgen Pintso Sherpa also thanked fans for their support.

"We just returned after playing Siliguri premier league. Our team is in good shape", he said.
