Birta United Wins Title Of 2nd Panchthar Gold Cup Football Tournament

Birta United has won the title of 2nd Panchthar gold cup football tournament.

Nepal international Nawayug Shrestha scored a brace as Birta defeated New Star club, Sunsari 4-1 in the final match played on Sunday.

Nishan Limbu and Puspa Maden scored apiece for the winners.

Nishan Limbu scored a consolation goal for Sunsari. Hemanta Thapa became the man of the final match.

The champions received Rs 3,11,555. Runners up team got Rs 1,55,555.

Panchthar yuwa club organized the championship, which was sponsored by Wai-Wai noodles.
