
Planning Boys United, Kathmandu has entered the semi-finals of the ongoing 7th Bharaul Gold Cup International Invitational Knockout Football Tournament.
In the third quarter-final held on Sunday, the Planning Boys defeated Hanami BFC, Chitwan 1-0, and succeeded in making it to the semi-finals.
The only goal scored by foreign player Dika for Planning Boys became the deciding goal of the game. Dika, the decisive scorer, was chosen as the man of the match.
Under the competition, the fourth and final quarterfinal match on Monday, Chaitra 26th, will be played between Nepal Police Club, Kathmandu and Birtamod New Star Club, Jhapa, the organizers informed.
Organized by New Star Club, Barahkshetra-5, Sunsari, the winner of the inaugural competition will receive a cash prize of 4 lakhs along with a title, while the runner-up will receive 2 lakhs. The final match will be held on the 30th of Chaitra.
