New Road Team (NRT) defeated Three Star Club 1-0 in the second match of KP Oli Cup Tournament 2080. With this win, NRT has entered the semi-finals of the tournament.

Bivek Gurung's goal in the 29th minute of the game was decisive for NRT in the match at the ANFA Complex in Satdobato. In the 29th minute, Bivek scored a free kick to give the team the lead.

In the second match, Nepal Police Club entered the quarterfinals after defeating Tribhuvan Army Club by 4-3 in the penalty shootout. Police entered the quarterfinals due to the excellent goalkeeping of goalkeeper Amit Tamata.

Amit became the hero of the game by stopping 2 penalties of Army. The game was pushed to the penalty shootout as both the teams failed to score even in the scheduled 90 minutes.

Amit became the hero for the team by stopping Army's third penalty, Bhupendra Jung Rai's goal and Nepal's famous striker Navayug Shrestha's last penalty.

Police will now compete with Machindra Football Club on Tuesday to reach the semi-finals.

The final of the tournament will be held on Saturday at Dashrath Stadium.
