In the 32nd minute of the first half of today's match at Pashupati Adarsh Mavi's playground, a foul was committed on a Birganj player. After some arguments, the chief referee Ajay Singh showed a red card to Jhapa's Ekraj Budhathoki in the 34th minute of the match.

Similarly, the game resumed when the tension was not balanced. Ranjay Choudhary of Birganj again scored at Jhapa's empty post. Jhapa players did not enter the field in the second half.

Meanwhile, the host Him Kasturi Yuva Club asked Jhapa Damak's team Chatya Sa Library to return to the game. Jhapa, who did not return to the game, was given an additional 5 minutes.

After not entering the Jhapa ground on time, the chief referee Ajay Singh blew the final whistle and the organizers declared Birgunj United the winner.
