On the occasion of the upcoming Bada Dashain and Dipawali, Moonlight United Youth Club, Pathibhara Yangwarak Rural Municipality-2 Thechambu, Taplejung will hold an open men's and Pathibhara Yangwarak Rural Municipality's ward-level women's football tournament from October 11th.

Team registration has been opened for clubs interested in participating in the competition at Thechambu Mavi's playground until October 10th. Also, the organizer informed that the team registration fee is 5000 for men and 1000 for women.

Similarly, the winner of the men's football tournament will receive a cash prize of Rs 1,01,111 along with the title, while the runner-up will receive a trophy, medal and certificate along with Rs 50,555.

On the women's side, the winner will receive 25,000 with the title, while the runner-up will receive 15,000 with a trophy, medal and certificate. Apart from that, the two teams that will be defeated in the semi-finals will also be awarded 10,000 each, said Ram Kumar Katuwal, president of the host club.

Likewise, President Katuwal informed that appropriate awards have been arranged for individual categories as well.
