Kuwait has entered final of SAFF Championship 2023.

Kuwait defeated spirited Bangladesh 1-0 in the first semifinal match played at Sri Kantiravaa stadium, Bangalore on Saturday.

Kuwait needed an added extra time goal thanks to Abdallah Alhousi in 105th minute of the game.

Earlier, Bangladesh started the game in a good note. Morselin wasted a brilliant goal scoring chance in 2nd minute. Bangladesh then applied a full defensive game and relied on counter moves.

Alhousi finally broke the deadlock in 105th minute.

India will play against Lebanon in the second semifinal match later this evening.
