Eastern Veterans & Dhaijan Charaali Veterans have won their respective matches in Nepal-Indo veterans championship played at Kakarvitta, Jhapa.

Eastern defeated Bidhavasini veterans FC Biratnagar 4-3 on penalties. Both teams played 1-1 draw in regulation time. Tara Bahadur Pombohang became the man of the match.

In the second match, Dhaijan Charaali defeated Dagapur veterans 2-0. Laxmi Prashad Limbu and Bhim Bahadur Rai scored apiece for the winners. Limbu became the man of the match.

Kakarvitta will play against Kalebung Veterans and Surunga will meet Dharan Workers veterans FC on Wednesday.

Kakarvitta veterans football club is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,25,000.
