5th Makwanpur Gold Cup: Avenir FC, Cameroon Enters SFs

Avenir FC, Cameroon has entered semifinals of 5th Makwanpur gold cup football tournament in Hetauda, Makwanpur.

Avenir FC sidelined Birgunj United 2-0 in quarterfinal match played at Piple stadium on Wednesday.

Yanick Owona (39') and Shaba (75') scored apiece for the winners.

Umesh Karki of Birgunj United became the player of the match and received NRs 10,000 cash.

Nepal APF will play against Tribhuwan Army FC on Thursday.

Makwanpur DFA is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of NRs 15 lakh.
