Birtamod Veterans FC and Rhino veterens have won their respective matches in Nepal-Indo veterans championship in Jhapa.

Birtamod defeated CBC Veterans Chandragadhi 5-1 in the first match played at Kakarvitta on Sunday. Subash Subba scored a brace while Keshabraj Dahal and Devman Limbu scored apiece for the winners. Arjun Rai scored for CBC.

Rhino Doars defeated Everest Veterans FC Morang 1-0. Dibya Jyoti Mukherkjee scored the match winners in 70th minute.

Eastern veterans will meet Bindhabasini veterans and Dhaijan-Charaali veterans will meet Dagapur veterns Siliguri on Monday.

Kakarvitta veterans FC is organizing the championship, which has a winning purse of Rs 1,25,000.
