News ANFA President Meets AFC President Shaikh Salman In Malaysia

Kathmandu (GoalNepal) - Shaikh Salman bin Ebrahim Al Khalifa, the president of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC), met with Pankaj Bikram Nembang, the president of the All Nepal Football Association (ANFA), in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, on Thursday to talk about the game's future growth in Nepal.

In addition to congratulating President Nembang on his recent election win, the AFC President said that his victory in July of this year was evidence of the trust and confidence the Nepali football community had in his talents.

Additionally, Shaikh Salman discussed the wide range of AFC programs in the technical, refereeing, and development sectors that have had a lasting influence on Nepalese football and highlighted the nation's intense love for the sport.

The AFC President remarked, "Having visited Nepal on multiple occasions, I have personally experienced the enormous devotion for the beautiful game in Nepal.

"Under the new leadership of President Nembang, the AFC has emphasized its Vision to ensure that football remains the most popular sport on the Continent, and we are unwavering in our resolve to unleash the tremendous potential of our wonderful game," stated Shaikh Salman.

President Nembang thanked the AFC President for continuing to support the growth of football in Nepal and expressed hope that the spirit of cooperation between the AFC and ANFA would continue to grow.
